Insanity Workout Program: An Independent Review

Many people acknowledge that one of the first ways they can take good care of their body is to work out on a regular basis. Selecting a training program that works for you can be beneficial in this regard. It is a good idea to get some exercise each day, but it is even better to settle into a routine that lasts for 30 minutes or more, 3-5 days per week. The idea is to find a workout program that you enjoy, so that you stick to it. Of all the training programs around, the Insanity Workout program created by Shaun T and the Beachbody company seems to be attracting a lot of attention. Certainly, it is easy to follow and very popular among its followers.

Shaun T developed the Insanity Workout program. He is the creator of the popular Hip Hop Abs program and the Rockin Body pro trainer program, too. Shaun T made his mark in the world as a dancer. He is well-known for working with many Hollywood types, such as Val Kilmer and Mariah Carey, to name a few.He also has corporate clients that include the Nike Corporation and the Los Angeles Lakers. Needless to say, he is quite confident that what he is doing is working.

Shaun T developed the Insanity Workout Program around the premise of max interval training. In a workout like this, the focus is to keep the heart rate at a high level, with only short rests and recovery periods. When you workout in this way, you exert a lot of energy in short bursts. This is different than other types of interval training where you rely more on building the heart rate more slowly as you increase the rate at which you are working out. By training the Insanity way, you max out your training each day. Each workout includes plyometrics (jumping), pure cardio workouts, and various sports training exercises, such as The Heismann. During the course of each exercise you move from one of these exercises to the next when you're able, resting just long enough to recover to the point where you can begin again.

Almost everyone who participates in the Insanity workout program really loves it. If you talk to anyone who is doing Insanity or who has completed the 60-day program, you are sure to be met with a glowing review. That's because Shaun T has a great approach. He is able to push people and connect with them, without coming across as a pompous fitness trainer. He is very genuine in his approach and often during the training videos, you will notice that even he is admitted tired and needs a rest.

Insanity Workout DVDs can be found online or at your local fitness center. They cost over 0, but that is minimal compared to the costs of expensive gym memberships. You do all of the Insanity workouts right in your home. It is recommended that you try Insanity for thirty days. If you do not like it, you can get a full refund.
